From Blogger to Wordpress

I am not sure if you are going to read this post today, but I will still try to post something here anyway.

While I am writing this post I am in the process of transferring this blog to a Wordpress platform and this transfer should take effect in 24 hours.

Aside from the change in platform, I will also have to change the look and feel of my site. I will view some of the template options later and will have to decide right away so I can have this blog up as soon as possible. :)

And from my domain of www.24x7onlinediva.com, I will have to use www.24x7-onlinediva.com after the transfer. :) This is new blogging experience for me and something that I need to do ASAP. :)

Jamie Pugh: Living the Dream

Jamie Pugh can capitalize the drama of his life being a young widower in his 20's but he chose to tell everyone what he does at work, a warehouse driver by day and pizza delivery boy (ahmm man), at night.

When I saw him at first, he reminded me of my father (who shares the same hairline) but what kept me from watching it countless times (until now that I am writing this post) is the (cool pitch yet warm tone) voice that is meant to sing in front of the Queen and be heard by a lot of people to appreciate his talent.

And oh, speaking of appreciation, his heartwarming interpretation of Bring Him Home by Les Miserables was twitted by Demi Moore. She's no authority when it comes to music, but hey, that's still something right?

If you want to hear it for yourself, listen to the clip below and let me know what you think. :)

I wonder what Susan Boyle , Shaheen Jafargholi and Hollie Steel are thinking now that he came to the picture.

He might have been the last contestant to audition, but he surely left something worthy to remember. Now I know what it means when someone says "Save the Best for Last". Good luck Jamie! :)

Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton Fight vs Blogging

Have you thought of using Pacquiao-Hatton fight to write a blog post?

I just thought of it now. I just turned the TV on as I am writing this post. I've never been a fan of boxing. But from as far as I can remember, I have been watching Paquiao's fight here on free TV since he was made known to be the Philippines' pride in boxing.

Before I went here I saw a lot of streamers outside inviting people to watch it in pay-per-view. If you're here in the Philippines, you have to fork over almost $10 on regular establishments like restos and dining halls. It can go as high as $15-$30, depending on the location (and if free meals and drinks are included in the package).

This event also affects some call center operations as they receive a lot of calls in relation to this fight. I even heard some agents talking about their bet and almost everyone seem to be an instant boxing expert as they strongly share their opinions about it.

Let's see if this event will also hit YouTube in the coming days.
Update: Pacquiao won the fight. Check the videos uploaded from YouTube

But what I know now is a lot of people all over the globe are glued on TV, even bloggers, while waiting for the best time to write a blog post in relation to this event.

How about you? Aside from watching international events like Pacquiao-Hatton fight, what triggers you to write a blog post?
